We transplanted the Morning Glories into the dirt little success. Of the 16 cups I think only two are surviving and even they aren't looking great. They are green and slooowwwly growing new leaves, but they're still laying down. Hopefully with some TLC (by me, not the toddlers!) we can coax those two into success. We also planted 16 cups of tomatoes and so far have five seedlings. Considering the planting process and care and delicacy of my young assistances, I'm considering five seedlings a success! :) I'm going to credit their gentle touch to the Morning Glories status as well. The best part about gardening with toddlers, particularly for a novice like myself, is that there is always someone around to take the "credit" for unsuccessful efforts :) That and you can chalk everything up to a learning experience for all!
